I was born in North Carolina, and the early years of my life were spent in the southern United States, moving as my father’s Coast Guard duties required. We also spent about 3 years in Alaska, a real change of pace. Moving so often made me be the new kid in town more times than I ever wanted, but it certainly gave me a lot of material. I plan on writing about as many events in my childhood and mid-teens as I can remember.

From time to time, I’ll write about something that occurred later in my life, and even a few comments about current events.

I may even explain the title of this blog.
